The Garage is up

I had to zoom in on this one - I wonder why it
takes 3 guys to figure out how to cut a piece of wood.

Second Floor

Dan and Chad working hard :)

The first floor - from driveway

The first floor - side of house

The first floor - back of house

"Now if I could only remember what goes on the end of this hose!"

The well being drilled.
The big huge well rig.

Our foundation!

I asked Dan if I could help with something and he thought I could help
tar the foundation...what a mess! But didn't I do a wonderful job? :)

I wonder if you can find me in the next two pictures :)

The forms for the walls and the walls poured.

Well, did you find me?

The footings are under these blankets. And in the back
you can see the piles of gravel for our driveway.

And here I am very excited about our footings :)

Dan looking very happy about installing our septic system.

This is where our poop will go :)

And this is the leaching field!

Dan let me ride with him in the excavator for a little while.

I got jerked around quite a bit in there so I only lasted a few minutes.

The "Blankets" - We tucked our hole in nice and tight, no bed bugs :)

After Dan finished digging the hole and laying out the foundation,

we had to lay "blankets" over it so that the frost wouldn't get in

before they poured the footings or the walls.

Let the digging begin!! We broke ground on our house the second weekend in December!! Who would have thought we'd have a 70 degree day in the beginning of January! We are praying the big snow storms hold off until we have a roof on our house. By the way, our house DID sell :) We closed on December 15th on the house and the following week on our Building Lot in New Hampton, NH. I will try to post pictures on here as we go along. Enjoy! :)
